Top 10 Villas Greece is a subsidiary of Top 10 Villas (hereinafter Company). The privacy and confidentiality of user information is important. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your user information. By accessing this site, you agree to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy set herein.

This privacy policy ensures that users understand the reasons for providing their personal information and to know what Company aims to do with it. This is a way of us ensuring accountability towards our users and to prevent the use of data for purposes other than those disclosed within this privacy policy. Data is collected for purposes that directly relate to your use of our Services including customer communications, marketing communications such as email offers for luxury holidays worldwide and villa rentals, as well as for communicating with clients or potential clients proceeding with purchases or contracts.

The data we collect is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary. We do not collect data on the basis that it may be useful at a future date.

We do not sell any of the data to anyone nor trade data with any entity. Only Top 10 Villas processes and stores the data provided.  

If another company acquires Company, the data will be assigned to the new business owner.

We use your data to ensure we process transactions safely and securely. It can also help us personalise your experience and develop new services that we think you will like. Data can also help us focus on the needs of individuals.

Whether it’s to deliver products and services to you and others, or to follow legal requirements, we’ll always be clear and open with you about how and why we’re using your data. And if you need more detail, we’ll always keep our privacy notices where you can find them easily.

We take extra care when dealing with vulnerable customers, and we never send marketing material to children.

We aim to provide data protection of customer’s data as well as to reduce the severity and frequency of data breaches, and the potential for mishandling or misprocessing of personal data on the web.

Please be informed that we transfer and process any personal data you provide to us to countries other than your country of residence. The laws of these countries may not afford the same level of protection to your personal data. Company will therefore seek to ensure that all adequate safeguards are in place and that all applicable laws and regulations are complied with in connection with such transfer.

USER INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

To protect our users, we exercise full discretion and anonymity.

The data that we collect includes: Full Name, Gender, Company Name, Email Address, Phone Numbers, City, Country, Company Billing Information, your communication data (after your consent thereto) and Social Media profiles and pages. This data is stored for a period of 7 years.

Customer data that we collect as a contractual obligation if you make a booking through us, which we laterdiscard upon checkout: Passport copy, credit card information, Address and information about people travelling with you and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific travel requirements, including your communication data (after your consent thereto). Data processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. This data is stored for a period of up to 1 year.

The data we do not collect includes: Photos, Birth Date, Age, ID Numbers, Personal Address, Passwords, website usage history, search history, traffic and location data. Furthermore we do not collect data on users’ sexual orientation, health, religious beliefs, race, political opinions, trade union memberships, genetics, ethnic origin, criminal information and biometrics.

COOKIES

This website does not use “necessary cookies” to make the site work. In fact, the only cookies it uses are the ones from advertising platforms. We do not process any special categories of personal data.  

We use data from advertising platforms to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.

According to Google Support, a cookie is small file saved on people’s computers to help store preferences and other information that’s used on webpages that they visit.

• Cookies can save people’s settings on certain websites and can sometimes be used to track how visitors get to and interact with websites.
• Google uses cookies in various ways. For example, remarketing and Google Analytics both use cookies to help do things like run your ads or track your success.
• The conversion tracking feature of Google Ads also uses cookies. To help you track sales and other conversions from your ad, it adds a cookie to a person’s computer when the person clicks an ad. 
• Sometimes cookies can cause problems when you’re signing in or moving through your Google Ads account. When this happens, the best way to fix this is to clear the cache and cookies that are saved for your Internet browser.
• The cookie that Google adds to a user’s computer when he or she views or clicks on an ad expires in 30 days. This measure, and the fact that Google uses separate servers for conversion tracking and search results, protects the user’s privacy.
• Users who don’t wish to participate in tracking activities can easily not accept this cookie by setting their internet browser user preferences to block cookies. This may need to be done again after a user clears cookies in order to maintain these settings. These users will simply not be included in your conversion tracking statistics.

Bing Ads has Universal Event Tracking (UET)used for conversion tracking, audience targeting, and automated bid strategies. The UET tag records what customers do on different websites and sends that information to Microsoft Advertising.

TheFacebook pixelis an analytics tool that measures the effectiveness of digital advertising by understanding the actions users take on a website. The pixel:

• Makes sure ads are shown to the right people. Finds new customers, or people who have visited a specific page or taken a desired action on your website. 

• Drives more sales. Sets up automatic bidding to reach people who are more likely to take an action you care about, like making a purchase. 
• Measures the results of our ads to better understand the impact of our ads by measuring what happens when people see them.

LinkedIn uses persistent cookies that last beyond the current session and will stay on your browser until they expire or you delete them. Please take a look at LinkedIn’s Cookie Policy for more information. These tables list some of the cookies that LinkedIn and third parties place. 

Email marketing. The only way this data is transferred is from subsidiaries of Top 10 Villas to Top 10 Villas and if we change email marketing software providers.

We do not implement cross-device cookies for matching devices with users.

We do not use JavaScript, log files or other mechanisms to automatically collect and record information about your browsing activities.

ANALYTICS

Our website uses analytics to calculate web statistics and to enable better online advertising.

Web statistics cookies:  these cookies are used to determine which parts of our website visitors are most interested in. This enables us to make the structure, navigation, and content of our website as user friendly as possible. Specifically, these cookies are used to:

• Keep track of the number of visitors to our web pages

USER RIGHTS

Users have the right to be informed and to check that the information held is accurate. Users may contact our Data Protection Officer via email at [email protected] request a copy of the personal data or to request that their personal data is erased. Top 10 Villas will provide a response to the request, free of charge, within one week of the request.

Users have the right to deny the consent for the processing of their data. Users also have the right to transfer their data from Company to a similar company.

Users have the right to be forgotten.

SUPPLIER INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

If you are a Property Owner providing your holiday property to us, we will collect the following data from you: Full Name, Company Name, Email Address, Phone Numbers, City, Country, Company Billing Information, Bank account details as well as texts, photos, videos and marketing materials pertaining to the property you wish to rent with us. 

HOW WE USE THE DATA

We take the utmost care to ensure that the personal information we obtain from you is not used in a way that you may be unaware of or not agreeable to. In the event you opt to provide us with this information, we will only use it for the purpose specified.

Information collected on the website may be used to:

• Make a booking with us.
• Enter your email in our promotions.
• Send marketing communications to you.
• Respond to your questions or suggestions.
• Improve the quality of your visit to our site.
• If you own a property featured on our website, we will also use your bank account details to make payments to you.

If you make a booking with us, the owner or caretaker of the property you are booked to stay at may require us to provide them with your phone number and/ or your email address so as to be able to make contact with you, if necessary, prior to your arrival. 

No other use is made of the collected information, in particular the information is never passed to third parties without permission

You can opt-out of any communication or from receiving marketing materials by following the instructions in any communication you receive from us. Likewise you may emailour Data Protection Officer at [email protected].

PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

Accountability: We take responsibility for the data we process. We have measures and records in place so that compliance can be demonstrated. We will always keep your data safe whereby the data was processed appropriately to maintain security. 

We want to ensure that visitors to our website feel confident about using the website to plan and book their accommodation. We are committed to protecting the information we collect.

Company has implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access. Our Site is hosted in a secure environment. The Site servers/systems are configured with firewalls. The data is being stored only on encrypted physical hard drives that do not have access to Internet. None of the data has been stored on any cloud.

Client communication is encrypted using Gmail and Whatsapp.

In the event of a breach, we adhere to notify our customers and suppliers within 72 hours of the event.

If we are required by lawful requests from public authorities to share your data with other organisations, such as the government, we do so securely and we don’t share more than we need to in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations as required by law.

No other companies store data on our behalf.

Company specifically requests that persons under the age of 18 years do not use this website or submit or post information to the website.
